Chobots Place Open! September 26, 2009

            If you’ve probably heard from me, I created a social network called Chobots Place. I need help trying to keep it up and running since people these days don’t really visit other people’s site and all the care is about themselves. Okay, so this new social network of mine is going to be fun if we can get more ppl to join.

            I’m going to be selecting a few moderators and lots of something called “trusties” or agents however you like to call it. Not the type of Trusty like the person you lend your money too. I will choose one moderator who I’ve know most, the second who’s great at designing and suggesting new ideas for the site, and the third the person who helps advertize and invite people to the site. Maybe I’ll have one temporary mod and a recurring mod. I won’t be choosing a lot to avoid craziness.

            I will be hiring lots of trusties the more the site grows. Currently, the trusty program isn’t open yet. To become a trusty you have to be honest, advertize the site, welcome new people, and report rulebreakers to moderators. Trusties won’t get additional abilities but get featured in the members place. Once every few months I’ll have an open poll on who gets to be the next moderator. *moderators are chosen wisely

            I haven’t created the rules yet, but it doesn’t mean you can curse. A couple of the moderators will be passing through your pages once or twice a week to make sure suspicious behavior isn’t going on. Don’t put your real picture, name, location, or age. If it says location and age is recommended, just put your country, and a fake city or zip code. Use your Chobot’s name only and picture too. Or you can put a picture of your pet, or something else, as long as it doesn’t have to deal with the real you.

            Do not impersonate moderators or agents off of Chobots just to become a moderator on Chobots Place. I do not work that way, I’m not stupid, and moderators will also be chosen wisely… not by picking all agents or people who ask.

            Fun: There will be lots of fun going on. If we can get enough people to join, we will schedule Halloween, Chrismas, and holiday parties and have prizes given out. I’ll hire a temporary moderator to plan some of these events. Also since it’s a “social” network, you can chat with other friends, comment on each other’s page, add widgets, playlists and lots more.
